“Music and art have always been a part of my life. My father played the violin as a young man and brought music into our lives through lessons and recordings. I have painted pictures of his violin but this is the first time I have painted a violin. The violin form suggested the butterfly shape to me. My appreciation for the beauty of art, nature, and music come together in my violin vision.” Peggy Flora Zalucha
