"When I was asked to participate in the "Art of Note", I immediately thought about my grandmother who played a violin.   She was born in America and spent her later life in Japan.   I would like to honor one of the wonderful music instruments in this world that often connects people throughout the face of this planet and creates universal harmony between people and cultures. And I wish to honor my late grandmother who loved to play it throughout her life.   I am hoping to create harmony from the cultures that I am experiencing and share the celebration of the art, music and life in the open and beautiful Midwest."
