Bird Ross' Bio in a Nut Shell:
I have been to college (BA); I have been to grad school (MFA). The results from working in my studio have been featured in exhibitions all over the country and abroad for over twenty years. I have written articles and had my work featured in a variety of magazines and newspapers internationally.   I have taught many classes to all age levels on manipulating materials and using a sewing machine.   I have been a juror for arts boards and art fairs, arts councils and art shows.   I have given lectures both on my work and what inspires me as well as on the physical nature of toilet paper holders in restrooms around the world. I can make restaurant reservations over the phone in Japanese, navigate the Tube in London, converse with French tourist that are lost and count to 10 and say "thank-you" (very much) in Turkish.   A selection of my work and articles can be viewed at www.birdross.com
